Incredible Years: Dinosaur School

Dinosaur School is a program designed for children ages 4 to 7, aimed at fostering positive social and emotional skills while supporting those who may show early signs of behavioral challenges. The program engages children in a structured, supportive environment where positive teaching and reinforcement techniques are used to promote improved behaviors.
Using the Incredible Years curriculum, the program incorporates engaging tools such as puppets and video vignettes to teach essential life skills and appropriate behaviors.

The Incredible Years program, originally developed in Washington State, has been successfully implemented nationwide and brought to our area by Southwest Iowa Families in 2007. This evidence-based program has been proven to reduce children's aggression and behavioral issues while enhancing social skills at home and in school settings.
Southwest Iowa Families also collaborates with local teachers and school districts to provide preschool classroom curriculum, benefiting communities in Montgomery, Fremont, and Page, counties.
