The Iowa Aftercare Services Network is a statewide collaboration of organizations dedicated to supporting youth who have aged out of foster care. In our region, Southwest Iowa Families partners with Children's Square to provide Foster Care Aftercare Services.

Youth aged 18, 19, or 20 are eligible for these services if they:

Received care in a family foster home, group home, or supervised living arrangement and exited foster care at age 17½ or older, or
Were adopted from foster care at age 16 or older.
Additionally, youth preparing to age out of foster care may qualify for planning services to help them transition successfully.
