Brittany VanFosson, LMSW
LMSW
Brittany is a psychotherapist at Southwest Iowa Families. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (where she majored in Social Work and minored in Women’s and Gender Studies), and a Master of Social Work from Boise State University.
Brittany is EMDR-trained and often integrates elements of ACT, and Narrative therapy into her work with clients. She especially enjoys working with folks navigating trauma recovery, identity development, and perfectionism. As a neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming provider, Brittany prioritizes creating a safe, welcoming space for all her clients.
In her free time, Brittany loves spending time with her four children (two humans, two cats), playing Dungeons & Dragons, and binge-watching Netflix.
